Job Description
A laborer or labourer is a person who works, especially in the and factory industries. Laborers are employed in the construction industry, such as road paving, building, bridges, tunnels, railway tracks. Laborers work with tools and small , and act as assistants to other trades as well, such as operators or cement masons
Job Duties
- Clean work areas - sweeping, cleaning all tables and surfaces, racks, and machines.
- Comply with all applicable legislative and health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to work a flexible 8 hour shift, Monday to Saturday.
- Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify engineering of any malfunctions
- Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including conduct, Health & Safety and maintaining good housekeeping, as well as all government regulations.
- Ensure compliance with set policies and procedures within ISO
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift Medium to heavy lifting, 25lbs to 50lbs multiple times on a daily basis
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating temperatures
- Comfort to work with machinery in a safe and conscious manner
- Basic math, reasoning and comfort with work instructions in English
- Flexibility with working rotating Day, Afternoon & Nights Shifts
